Hello Fellow Black Business Builders,
My name is Andre Hayward and I'm a 24 year jazz trombonist and educator in the Houston area. I have performed and recorded with such jazz greats as Roy Hargrove, Betty Carter, The Mercer/Duke Ellington Orchestra, Wynton Marsalis, Dave Holland, and Slide Hampton's World of Trombones.
My teaching career is equally extensive. I've served as jazz trombone professor at The New School Of Jazz & Contemporary Music, New England Conservatory, New York University, & Michigan State University.
In addition to my musical talents, I'm a devout student of direct marketing. I have a blog dedicated to teaching marketing to jazz musicians for the purpose of empowering our challenging careers. For the past 6 years, I've been learning from some of the top marketing experts in the world and looking forward to further expanding my knowledge in order to give back to my community in a positive and fruitful way.
