The Home Business Entrepreneur

My name is Derrick Henry and like many of you my business goal is attain so much residual income that a job is something that I do because I want to not because I have to.

My entrepreneurial journey began many years ago when I was initialy introduced to multi level marketing. I marketed for many different products over the years. In some of the MLM's I even made some money but apparently not enough to effectivly compensate for the time spent marketing it. I was so fed up with marketing other people's stuff and decided that I was going to have my own.

I began to asses my suroundings looking for something that fulfilled a need. I searched and searched until it finally hit me that it was right under my nose all the time. My wife was a manager of numerous tax and accounting offices here in Massachusetts she had also managed the knowlege base tax software department at Intuit Turbo tax, she had over 10 years of tax preparation and accounting experience and education. So she came home from work one day and I told her that we were going to open our own tax office. She did'nt believe me until she saw my business plan and start up budget. Her job was to get the authorizations and accredidations and she had no issues with that.

After much preparation our opening day came and it has now been 7 years.  TaxPlus is a profitable reality but I never gave up on the idea of residual income. I knew quite a few people making lots of money marketing from home. So I went on a quest to find out how they were doing it. They were not eager to show me because they were to busy training to sell to me. I began to buy these internet marketing tutorials piece by piece and that got quite expensive.

Then came the Black Business Builders Club, everything I was looking for was in one location. It also shared my vision of cooperative economics. It has been an extraordinary business tools resource and it has also been an enlightening education resource for me. It is certainly the home depot of business building and entrepreneurship.  It is a gateway to success for any business, product , service or idea!
